Engineering notes
- Meridian Signature Sound System: 1,600 W and 35 speakers in ten speaker types. Meridian's listed quantities reach 35 only if a tweeter + midrange combo counts as two, each seat-back unit as three and each headrest as two (my reconciliation).
- The optional Tailgate Event Suite adds two tweeter + midrange units (4 speakers, 39 total) that play outward with the tailgate open; they are not in the 35.
- Four height speakers give three-dimensional spaciousness, and Trifield 3D derives multichannel audio from stereo; RE-Q tunes each car to its interior materials.
- JLR notes a third-generation Active Noise Cancellation that plays its cancelling signal through the same speakers.
