Engineering notes

  • Second-generation carbon-nanotube electrostatic driver film, made in house by Audeze
  • SLAM (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator) provides earcup pressure relief and bass enhancement (patent pending)
  • Carbon-nanotube film originated in a joint Audeze and UCLA School of Medicine project for MRI-compatible headphones
  • Requires an amplifier with 580 VDC bias; hand-assembled and tested in California

Design language

Carbon fibre, magnesium and stainless steel with acetate accents, hand-assembled and tested in California.
