Engineering notes
- The Burmester High-End 4D system pairs 31 loudspeakers with eight seat exciters, two per seat, that carry bass into the occupant's back.
- Two amplifiers power the system; LB Tech reports one of them is dedicated to the eight exciters.
- Mercedes announced Dolby Atmos playback (Apple Music Spatial Audio) for the system.
- The 18.5 litre subwoofer sits in its own enclosure.
