The optional system uses 21 individually controlled loudspeakers, including a 25 cm active subwoofer with its own 400 W class D amplifier.

Engineering notes
- Burmester's 21 loudspeakers are individually controlled by class-D amplifiers with 1,455 W total, 400 W of it for the subwoofer.
- The Air Motion Transformer drives the front channels. Its folded-sheet diaphragm has nearly half the oscillating mass of the previous design at the same piston area, and efficiency rises by 6 dB.
- Auro-3D processing, developed with Galaxy Studios in Belgium, adds height from the A-pillar speakers. A separate algorithm repairs compressed sources such as Bluetooth and MP3.
- All drivers sit in lightweight die-cast aluminium baskets, and the amplifiers run at over 95 percent efficiency.
