Engineering notes
- Sonus faber's system pairs a 750 W Class-D amplifier with a powerful DSP to drive 7 speakers, and the final tuning is done by ear by Sonus faber artisans.
- The drivers are ultra-thin units with a reversed structure and a phase plug to control the sound waves, built to fit the Revuelto's tight cabin.
- An exclusive phase plug and a natural fibre composite material were developed for this car, and the tweeters use NanoSilk domes.
- Sonus faber cites the cabin's restrictions and the V12 behind the seats as the design challenge.
